HYDRAULIC ELEVATOR
Hydraulic elevators are powered by hydraulic Jack, which are fluid-driven pistons that travel inside of a cylinder.
Work Of Hydraulic Elevators
Unlink traction elevators, hydraulic system don’t use overhead hoisting machinery. Instead, these elevators use the compression of fluids to generate movement.
The lift cab is lifted by an electric motor that pumps oil into the cylinder to move the piston. Hydraulic elevators also include electric valves to control the release of oil for a smooth and comfort ride.
The hydraulic elevator must be liquid oil based to power it.
Benefits of Hydraulic elevator
- Require less space in Low-Rise or Buildings.
- Less expensive to install maintainable for transporting heavy loads.
- There is no need for an overhead machine room.
- They are highly effective with heavy loads, as the hydraulic power provides great lifting strength.
